ALS, 1970 February 4 : to the American Hall of Fame Library.

The musician responds to a request for a personal item for display, saying he is honored to be asked. "That is the nicest thing that has happened to me since I have been playing my horn all these fifty four years." He will clean up "one of my trumpets which you know I cherish and love very much."
